In order to only import one parent per family in FACTS SIS, you will need to import the family member listed first in FACTS SIS. This information can be found in the FACTS SIS family dashboard.
New Customers
If you know that the first listed contact in FACTS SIS is already the contact you want to sync, no need to make any changes to your FACTS SIS data.
If you are not sure if the first listed contact in FACTS SIS is the contact you want to sync with Track it Forward, click through your families in FACTS SIS to review each family account and see which contact is listed first. If you need to edit the order of the contacts, use the ‘Edit Family Order’ tool in FACTS SIS.
Current Customers
During the integration, you will be able to identify FACTS SIS users with their corresponding Track it Forward account if both accounts share the same email address, and automatically merge them together in Track it Forward during the sync process.
If the email addresses are different you will need to manually merge users’ previous Track it Forward account with the new FACTS SIS integrated account.
For new families who are not in Track it Forward, you will want to review their FACTS SIS account and make sure that the contact that is listed first for the family is the contact that you would like to sync with Track it Forward.
